A study by ASSISTANT PROFESSOR GE BAI was among the top-10 most read studies last year in the journal Health Affairs. Bai’s article “A More Detailed Understanding of Factors Associated With Hospital Profitability” was co-written with Professor Gerard Anderson of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. The study appeared in the May 12, 2016, edition of the journal. It is one of several studies examining health care charges that Bai and Anderson have recently co-authored and that have been garnering extensive media coverage.
In addition, a paper co-authored by Bai, “Effects of Ambiguous Com- mon Uncertainty on Employees’ Preference for Relative Performance Contracts,” appeared last December in The Japanese Accounting Review.
