In October, ASSISTANT PROFESSOR SANGHEE LIM presented her research “A Hidden Markov Model of Mental Health Dynamics of Breast Cancer Patients using Data from m-Health Applications” at the Workshop on Health IT and Economics in Washington, D.C. An earlier version of this study was published in the Proceedings of the 36th International Conference on Information Systems in Fort Worth, Texas, in December. Her co-authors in the work were doctoral student Junetae Kim and Professor Byungtae Lee of KAIST in South Korea, and Jong Won Lee and Soo-Yong Shin of the Asan Medical Center, also based in South Korea.

LECTURER SUPRIYA MUNSHAW was one of eight co-authors of the study “A hepatitis C virus envelope polymorphism confers resistance to neutralization by polyclonal sera and broadly neutralizing monoclonal antibodies,” published online in January by the Journal of Virology.
